Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month ends in a few short days. It is crucial that we close out this important month in our fight as strongly as possible. That's why I'm excited to announce our Triple Your Impact Match Challenge, a late-breaking opportunity for you to make a gift that can go 3X as far to provide help and hope for the millions affected by Alzheimer's disease.
Doug and his wife, Susan, were just one couple among millions who needed immediate help after Susan's Alzheimer's diagnosis. As Susan's caregiver, Doug was focused on her well-being but unsure where to start. Together, Doug and Susan looked to the Alzheimer's Association for the resources and support they needed during this challenging time.
Right now, so many people in our community — people like Doug and Susan, and like Alzheimer's Association volunteers, Lori and Lisa — found help and hope at the Alzheimer's Association. I hope their words spur you to fight with them by taking part in our Triple Your Impact Match Challenge.
"We didn't know what to do or who to turn to after Susan's diagnosis. So, I called the local Alzheimer's Association chapter for help. That's when we met Phil Shippers, the chapter's Program Director and dementia care specialist. We immediately felt comfortable with Phil. He helped me better understand Susan's needs and how to help her... I don't know where we would have been without Phil." — Doug, who lost his wife, Susan, to Alzheimer's in 2023

We will fight it with all our might and we will prevail." — Lori, who lost her father-in-law, father, sister-in-law and husband to Alzheimer's
