At this moment, tensions throughout the Middle East remain high. After an airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, missiles were launched at a U.S. base in Qatar. Fortunately, they were intercepted in time to save American lives.

Now, the world is waiting to see what follows. But we can’t wait to respond to the needs of deployed service members in harm’s way — they need our support right now.

This need could not be more vital, especially for troops deployed in volatile regions. The USO must continue to deliver critical assistance — care packages, morale programs and remote support — wherever our service members are stationed around the world.
