Today marks three years since Trump’s Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and ripped away abortion access for women across the country. 

Since then, Republicans have done everything in their power to reach their ultimate goal: a national abortion ban. And now they’re using their Big Ugly Bill to try and get it done.  

This bill is the biggest assault on women’s health care since Dobbs. They want to defund Planned Parenthood health clinics, prevent private insurance from offering abortion coverage, and slash Medicaid – leaving women without access to cancer screenings, affordable birth control, and critical prenatal care.

When my doctor told me my pregnancy wasn’t viable and that I needed an abortion procedure, I was devastated. I made the painful decision to have that procedure to protect my own health and to be the mother I so desperately wanted to be.
