Hi John,

Today is an important day in the pro-life movement!

June 24th, 2025 marks the third anniversary of the historic 2022 Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

“We therefore hold that the Constitution does not confer a right to abortion,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the majority opinion. “Roe and Casey must be overruled, and the authority to regulate abortion must be returned to the people and their elected representatives.”

On this third anniversary, we remember the generations of pro-life advocates who have given so much to protect the unborn and build a culture of life. It's through their efforts that Roe was finally overturned.

We also mourn the tragic loss of the more than 63 million unborn children whose lives were violently ended through abortion since Roe was decided. And we grieve for the many men and women who live today with the memory and trauma of abortion.

Finally, we recognize that the end of Roe was a new beginning for the pro-life movement: an opportunity for further progress.

Here in Oregon, we are determined to continue this human rights effort to protect the unborn and support women and families with life-affirming resources and options.

So today, let’s take some time to celebrate, to reflect, and to renew our commitment to the most vulnerable.

Thank you for being a crucial part of this mission!

Because everyone deserves an advocate,

Lois Anderson

P.S. Dobbs is the reason we’re holding Celebrate Life Month [[link removed]] right now, to carry forward the momentum and help create a truly pro-life culture in our very own communities. If you haven’t taken pro-life action yet this month, please make sure to do so before the end of the month!
