Chairwoman Stefanik joins Sean Hannity


Elise joined Fox News to discuss Kathy Hochul’s dangerous sanctuary state
policies that put illegals first and New Yorkers last as well as the new
polling out of New York which shows that if Elise Stefanik were to launch a
campaign for Governor she would start out only down by ONE point!

Elise Receives New York State Conservative Party’s Michael R. Long Award


Elise was deeply honored to receive the Michael R. Long Award from the New
York State Conservative Party at their third annual Welcome to Summer Dinner, a
recognition named after one of her earliest mentors and dearest friends,
Chairman Michael Long.


Chairman Long was not only a powerful force in New York's conservative
movement, but he was also a personal guide and source of strength for Elise
during her time as a public servant.


Also in attendance at the dinner were Chairman of the Republican National
Committee Michael Whatley, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), Rep. Mike Lawler
(NY-17), New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, and Assembly Minority
Leader Will Barclay, who are all key partners in the fight to SAVE NEW YORK!


Elise stated –


“Thank you to the New York State Conservative Party for the honor of receiving
the Michael R. Long Award this evening with the Long family present, especially
Chairman Long’s wife Eileen and his children. I will never forget Mike’s
extraordinary leadership - filled with integrity, strength, strong values,

Elise Traveling the Empire State!


This week, Elise hosted an evening reception in Saratoga County, a campaign
event in Manhattan, followed by a stop out in Suffolk County to support her
good friend and colleague Rep. Nick LaLota, plus a visit to Smithtown for a
GOTV event for Supervisor Ed Wehrheim.


Everywhere she goes in the Empire State, Elise hears the same thing from
hardworking New Yorkers: They're fed up with the crime and chaos that comes
from Kathy Hochul's radical left policies. Whether it's in the North Country,
Manhattan, or Suffolk County, the message is clear: It's time to SAVE NEW YORK!

Elise Statement on Knife-Wielding Illegal Alien Who 'Confronted and Chased'
U.S. Attorney in Albany


Elise is sounding the alarm after a crazed knife-wielding illegal "confronted
and chased" a sitting U.S. Attorney in Kathy Hochul’s Albany this week, a
shocking incident coming off the wake of increased political violence of
lawmakers in recent days.


Elise stated –


"In Kathy Hochul's New York, nobody is safe, not even President Trump's U.S.
Attorney for the Northern District of NY John A. Sarcone III, who was
'confronted and chased' by an illegal alien armed with a knife in Albany last
night, the Times Union reported.

Three separate times, Hochul signed executive orders to protect violent
illegal aliens from deportation. Kathy Hochul puts illegals first and New
Yorkers last. We desperately need a governor who puts New Yorkers first and
restores law and order to our streets."

Elise Slams Letitia James for Baselessly Investigating Local Law Enforcement
for Enforcing Immigration Law


This week, Elise called out New York Attorney General Letitia James for
weaponizing her office to attack our brave local law enforcement officers
that're simply doing their jobs upholding federal immigration law.


While these illegal immigrants commit violent crimes across our state, AG
James is busy TARGETING these sheriffs. It's an absolute disgrace and a clear
sign that Albany's radical Democrats care more about protecting criminal
illegal aliens than defending New Yorkers.


Elise stated –


“Kathy Hochul and Tish James’ New York is illegals first, New Yorkers last.
This is a continuation of Kathy Hochul and NY Democrats war against law
enforcement. Just last week, Kathy Hochul embarrassed all New Yorkers when she
was unaware of the violent crimes committed by illegals against New Yorkers
including being burned alive, raped, and molested. I fully stand behind
President Trump, federal law enforcement, and our County Sheriffs who are
working every day to restore law and order in our communities, fulfilling their
constitutional oaths."

Elise Introduces Legislation to Promote Workforce Development


Elise introduced two new bills this week to create new job opportunities for
Americans whose valuable skills cannot be measured by traditional academic
standards.

These individuals, who contribute through hands-on work and real-world
experience, are too often overlooked by hiring systems that prioritize academic
credentials over practical ability and their ingrained work ethic.

These two pieces of legislation will encourage employers to hire Great
American Workers with grit, determination, and ability who succeed in
merit-based work environments.


Elise stated –


“Last month, “I am proud to introduce two bills to invest in workforce
development and empower job creators to evaluate candidates based on what they
know how to do, not whether they went to college.

The Employer-Directed Skills Act empowers job creators to provide workforce
development opportunities that equip workers for in-demand jobs. The Advancing
Skills-Based Hiring Act supports employers seeking to adopt skills-based hiring
practices that prioritize applicants’ job skills and abilities over academic
qualifications."

Elise Requests SEC to Review Harvard’s Recent Bond Offerings


Elise formally requested that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
investigate Harvard University potentially misleading investors by failing to
disclose material information in connection with its recent bond offerings. As
public trust in elite institutions continues to erode, Elise is demanding more
transparency from tax-exempt Ivy League institutions that receive billions in
public funding.


Elise stated –


“I asked the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to review Harvard
University's recent bond offerings. I have deep concerns that Harvard
potentially withheld material information from bondholders prior to its initial
offering. As a tax-exempt institution with immense influence over public
policy, academic standards, and federal research funding, Harvard should be
held to the highest standard of financial transparency"

Elise Conducts Medicaid Oversight to Ensure Eligibility Compliance


This week, Elise took bold action to protect taxpayers and restore integrity
to a broken system. While Left Wing politicians in DC and Albany turn a blind
eye, she is stepping up to root out fraud, waste, and abuse in New York’s
bloated Medicaid program, by fighting to make sure your hard-earned dollars go
to those who need it, rather than illegal immigrants and fake recipients.


Elise stated –


“New York’s Medicaid program is grossly mismanaged and rampant with waste,
fraud, and abuse. I am dedicated to ensuring that taxpayer-funded resources
effectively support our nation's most vulnerable populations.

Recent media reports indicate that state Medicaid programs are failing to
verify enrollee eligibility. This is not acceptable.

Today, I requested Medicaid contractors conduct a thorough review to ensure
eligibility verification to help those in need."

This week, Elise joined Newsmax’s National Report about the Worst Governor in
America, Kathy Hochul, putting illegal aliens first, America’s role in
preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and how she’s leading the way
to eradicate antisemitism in higher education.


Elise stated –


“We need a governor who puts New Yorkers first, and Kathy Hochul puts
illegals first and New Yorkers last. And let’s be clear about the $50 million
slush fund. Those are taxpayer dollars of hard-working New York families, and
the fact that Kathy Hochul wants to use our hard-earned taxpayer dollars to
bail out illegals – New Yorkers, whether you’re Republican, Democrat, or
Independent – that is not common sense.

I serve on the House Armed Services Committee as one of the most senior
members. I serve on the House Intelligence Committee, and President Trump has
been very clear for years, not just for this term, that Iran must not pursue
nuclear weapons capability, and we strongly stand with Israel. Israel has a
right to defend itself, and we are very proud of Israel’s strong national
security policies to defend its nation.

These universities get billions of dollars of U.S. taxpayer funds. We need to
withhold these funds because these universities have failed to fix themselves.
We also need to go at the heart of it and look at any foreign dollars that are
flowing into our university systems. We have put forth legislation to address
that, and there needs to be more investigations in that space as well.”
