Campers will relive the events surrounding the Battle of San Jacinto through hands-on activities, crafts, and demonstrations, following the footsteps of Texian and Mexican troops from the Runaway Scrape to the climactic battle.

Annual Judge Eddie E. Harrison Juneteenth Heritage Celebration
Ich Bin Ein Amerikaner
Celebrate the Fourth of July all week at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill—bring your own picnic and enjoy the historic grounds. Then, on July 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, experience "Ich bin ein Amerikaner" with living history demos, a laser shooting range, historic games, flag-making crafts, and ice cream-making as you discover German Texan Independence Day traditions on the Bluff.

Bastille Day Celebration
Celebrate Bastille Day, the French national holiday commemorating the start of the French Revolution, with Antonelli’s Cheese at Austin’s historic French Legation. On July 12, from 7-9 p.m., join the site for an outdoor cheese tasting featuring curated French cheeses, guided by expert cheesemongers, and bring your own picnic or beverage to enjoy while immersing yourself in the rich history and flavors of France.
