Dear Illinois Republicans,
Michael Madigan, once the most powerful politician in Illinois, was sentenced: 7.5 years in federal prison and a $2.5 million fine for abusing his office and trading public power for personal gain.
For decades, Madigan ruled from the shadows—wielding the Speaker’s gavel like a weapon. He handpicked candidates, rigged political maps to favor his allies, raised taxes, and cut utility deals that enriched insiders while Illinois families watched their bills rise.
The judge described his lies in court as a “nauseating display of perjury.” But the real nausea belongs to every Illinoisan who watched taxes soar, schools decline, and neighbors leave—all while Madigan and his machine cashed in.
Now, one chapter has closed. But the story isn’t over.
Illinois Democrats continue to unconstitutionally pass special interest proposals, which is why Senate Republicans filed a lawsuit.
Madigan cronies still remain in office. His political maps are still in place. And Governor J.B. Pritzker? He turned a blind eye—then doubled down on failed leadership. Pritzker has made headlines for all the wrong reasons:
📍 $2.5 Billion for Migrants By the end of 2025, that’s how much of your tax dollars Pritzker will have spent on non-citizens—while seniors struggle to keep their homes and working families buckle under property taxes. His priority? Open wallets for open borders.
📍 A $55.2 Billion Budget Signed in the Dark This 3,400-page budget—the largest in state history—was dropped at the last minute and rushed through with no transparency. It includes a $700 million tax hike on Illinois families.
📍 Riots in the Streets, Encouraged from the Top While Illinoisans ask for peace and order, Pritzker urged “mass protests” and “disruption.” The result? Burned cities, smashed police cruisers, and no leadership in sight.
📍 Excuses Under Oath When testifying before Congress, Pritzker had a chance to take responsibility. He didn’t. No apology for the violence. No plan for the migrant crisis. Just spin, blame, and presidential aspirations.
Let’s be clear: While you work hard to make ends meet, Pritzker has committed billions—not millions—to migrant care. Meanwhile, Illinois families are facing skyrocketing costs and shrinking savings.
And the $700 million tax hike he just signed off on? It’s designed to keep his reckless budget afloat—on the backs of working families.
This is what one-party rule looks like: backroom deals, reckless spending, and a complete disregard for everyday Illinoisans. Democrats continue to delay property tax relief, squander taxpayer dollars, and turn their backs on working families—all to protect a corrupt political machine.
But this is a defining moment for our state. Illinois is worth fighting for—and we will not sit back while open-border extremists drive us toward financial ruin and leave our citizens behind. We're building a movement to take our state back and restore power where it belongs: with the people.
We can’t do it without you. Every contribution helps us expose corruption, fight back against tax hikes, and elect conservative leaders who will put Illinois families first.
