SCOTUS Upholds Tennessee’s Ban on Trans
Surgeries for Minors
In a 6-3 ruling, the Supreme Court ruled in
favor of Tennessee’s law banning gender transition surgeries for minors
(as if it’s actually possible to transition one's gender). Justices Sonia
Sotomayor, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Elena Kagan dissented, with even Amy
Coney Barrett voting in favor.
