Patriot,
Right now, America is on the brink of getting mired down in yet another war in the Middle East.
Countless, innocent lives hang in the balance.
The latest news from the White House states President Trump will decide in the next two weeks whether to take action against Iran, and it could be the most fateful decision of his presidency.
Starting a war is the most momentous decision anyone can possibly make.
That’s why the U.S. Constitution does not give the president that power.
Right now, the country – and even President Trump's own base – is divided on whether or not America should get involved in this war.
President Trump should make the case to Congress before he takes any aggressive action in Iran – that is what the law demands. It is a constitutional requirement.
The good news is Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) have introduced privileged resolutions requiring a congressional declaration of war before any offensive action is taken against Iran.
Tell your representative and senators NO WAR without a formal declaration by Congress.

Right now, numerous aircraft and ships are headed to the Middle East, including an unprecedented number of tankers.
If America gets involved in this war, the consequences are unforeseeable – nobody can predict how it will play out. It could explode into a regional conflict, or worse.
Going to war to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon – something the International Atomic Energy Agency and our own intelligence community confirms it was not pursuing – could even trigger a nuclear standoff if Iran’s allies get involved.
President Trump is contemplating war with Iran, and his demands, like “NO SURRENDER!” make it clear that war is where we are headed.
That's why Rep. Thomas Massie and Sen. Tim Kaine introduced resolutions to prevent the president from going to war without a declaration of war by Congress.
Following the Constitution would not prevent the president from taking emergency action if necessary, but at this point, Iran has not attacked any American forces.
Senator Rand Paul, champion of the Constitution in the U.S. Senate, recently noted “there is no constitutional authority for the president to bomb anyone without asking permission first.”
This is exactly correct, and it is precisely because the Founders knew the gravity of war required thoughtful consideration and debate.
That's why, in this critical moment, you and I must DEMAND our representatives and senators hold the president to the Constitution and seek proper authority to involve America in this war.

Patriot, just like at the outbreak of Covid, leaders love to use the pretext of an “emergency” to ignore the Constitution and make reckless decisions.
Those decisions always end disastrously.
We've seen how these wars always start. The neocons are euphoric.
“The mission will be a piece of cake! We will be greeted as liberators. Peace through STRENGTH!”
And then, after thousands of deaths and trillions of dollars are wasted, we discover we aren't the hegemonic masters of the universe they thought we were.
Patriot, the more outpouring of demands from American patriots like you, the better chance Congress will blow the whistle.
Take one moment to contact your lawmakers right away.

P.S. We were promised a foreign policy of freedom, but it appears the warmongers are on the verge of getting the war they’ve been demanding for the last 30 years.
The military-industrial complex is giddy as can be.
More wars in far-off places and more money for them.
It’s up to you and me to stop them and those in Congress who appear to like war as well.
CONTACT YOUR LAWMAKERS NOW and tell them NO WAR without a formal declaration by Congress!
