I just signed on to the War Powers Resolution to stop Trump from dragging
us into another endless war — this time with Iran.
Let me be clear: The President does not have the power to unilaterally
declare war. Congress has the authority — and the duty — to step in before
more innocent lives are lost. We’ve seen this before — in Iraq, in
Afghanistan — and we can’t allow history to repeat itself for the sake of
political points or profit.
If you agree that we can’t let Trump or anyone else lie us into another
war, I’m asking you to stand with me today. These moments take moral
clarity — but they also take grassroots power to push back against the war
machine and the establishment forces fueling it.

Trump has shown — again — that he’s more than willing to exploit this
escalating crisis between Israel and Iran to score political points and
serve the war profiteers. We’ve seen this playbook before. Iraq.
Afghanistan. The lies. The loss. The cost — paid by everyday people here
and abroad.
We won’t stand by and let it happen again. Not on my watch.
That’s why I signed onto this resolution — alongside a group of colleagues
— to demand that Congress reclaim its constitutional power and prevent
another disastrous, unauthorized war.
When some profit from endless war, the rest of us pay the price.
When I say I’m willing to speak truth to power, I mean it, because silence
isn’t an option.
You’ve always had my back when I’ve been one of the first to stand up and
speak out. I’m asking you to stand with me again today.
