During my career in law enforcement, I locked up drug dealers, arrested and deported criminals here illegally, and did everything I could to keep the community safe.

John King for U.S. Senate
John, four decades ago, I joined the Atlanta Police Department as a beat cop.

My first assignment was walking high crime foot patrol on Auburn Avenue. Eventually, I became chief of police in Doraville, a small community northeast of Atlanta. During my career in law enforcement, I locked up drug dealers, arrested and deported criminals here illegally, and did everything I could to keep the community safe.

I have some scars to show for it: I was shot and stabbed in the line of duty.

That didn’t break me; it strengthened my resolve. During my career as a law enforcement officer, I busted criminals, yes, but I also built bridges with diverse communities and saw neighbors helping neighbors.

I know how important it is to support law enforcement and first responders.

Soft-on-crime policies and weak leadership make our communities less safe. In the Senate, I’ll always Back the Blue and work with President Trump to make our country safer and more secure.

But I can’t do it without your support.

When it comes to supporting law enforcement, Jon Ossoff has been totally AWOL. He refuses to call out his own party’s insane anti-police policies, and he refused to speak up when "Cop City" protesters threatened Atlanta’s police training center.

He must be defeated.

Whether it’s $10, $25, or $100, your donation will help me bring determination, resolve, and support for our law enforcement officers to the U.S. Senate.
