California Environmental Voters

🚨 Right now, millions of acres of public lands, clean energy jobs, and public health safeguards are under threat from Trump's Big Bad Bill. Help us stand up by signing your name to our petition.

Right now, Senate Republicans are gearing up for a vote on Trump's Big Bad Bill—one of the most harmful, costly, and sweeping pieces of legislation we've ever seen.

This bill opens up avenues for polluters to ignore environmental safeguards, drill on public lands, and expose our communities to toxic pollution. It guts clean energy investments that employ more than 40,000 Californians. And it means higher gas and electricity costs for struggling families and businesses—all while adding $3.4 trillion to the national debt.1

There's huge momentum for change happening right now across the country, and it's time to make lawmakers listen. Sign our petition to pledge your opposition to ANY attempt to gut clean energy and roll back environmental protections.

As we saw with the fight to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, it's vital that all members of Congress feel the pressure to make blocking the Big Bad Bill a top priority. The support of EnviroVoters like you made the IRA win possible in 2022, and we need that support again now.

This week is June Recess, when Congressional Representatives return to their districts to hold town halls and meet with their constituents. As an experienced organizer, I know firsthand that recess periods are when members of Congress are at home, and the most receptive to accountability and constituents' pressure.

When I write to you, I make sure I'm asking you to take the actions that make a real impact on environmental progress. This week, the most impactful thing you can do to save our public lands and climate programs is attending your representatives' town halls and telling them what's important to you.

If this past weekend showed us anything, it's that we are not alone. More than five million people participated in protests all over the country to fight for justice, progress, and change. First, we march—now we advocate!

Thanks for being an integral part of this movement.
