John — Last week, I called on DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to resign. If you agree, add your name today.

Last week's action, when Alex Padilla was forcibly removed from the public press conference in Los Angeles, was just another check in a long list of terrible things Kristi Noem has done. (In fact, during that press conference, she said she was bringing in the troops to liberate the city from the “socialists.” She wouldn’t know a socialist from a socialite.)

From the start, Kristi Noem has been hyper-partisan and incompetent in a role that demands a serious person.

The Department of Homeland Security has tremendous responsibility: keeping the country safe, controlling immigration and border issues, protecting our people.

This position demands someone of stature, who would bring the necessary thought and determination to protect our country.

That is not Kristi Noem.

She is spending her time cosplaying as different characters — a police officer, a border patrol agent, Coast Guard co-pilot. Often using humans as her props, like when she stood in front of the prisoners in a maximum security prison in El Salvador wearing her $50,000 watch.

But worse are the draconian and cruel immigration policies she is enacting. Dividing families, causing unquestionable heartbreak. Policies violating court orders, and sending people to maximum security prisons in foreign countries without due process.

I’ve met with people and families deeply hurt by Kristi Noem’s policies. She is not only unqualified but actively harming our families, our values, our economy, and our country.

She cannot stay in this position. Join me in calling for Kristi Noem’s resignation as DHS Secretary today.

I will continue to call on Kristi Noem to resign. The louder our voices, the more impact we will have.
