6 Reasons Why Israel's Strike against Iran Was Justified |
by Joshua Arnold |
As the world processes reports of Israeli airstrikes against the Iranian regime's military and nuclear weapons program, Christians should think carefully about how to respond. On one hand, we lament the loss of human life that wars bring as we follow our Lord in affirming, "blessed are the peacemakers" (Matthew 5:9). On the other hand, we also learn from Jesus that "wars and rumors of wars" (Matthew 24:6) will characterize this fallen world until he returns. |

The View from the Situation Room as Israel Lit Up Iran |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) was expecting to be 6,000 miles away next Sunday, a consequential trip that looks increasingly in doubt now. The Republican leader, who was hoping to become the third speaker to address the Israeli Knesset, can't begin to predict what the Middle East will look like in a week. The Jewish state's spectacular D-Day-like blitz across Iran - the result of years of planning, surveillance, and intelligence infiltration behind enemy lines - will go down as one of the most historic military operations of all time. But the mission that lit up Tehran's sky is not going unanswered, Israel warned. |

Conservatives are urging the Senate to pass a budget-cutting package that protects taxpayers from having to fund "egregiously wrong, egregiously wasteful, fraudulent and abusive" programs - including biased public media, the promotion of transgender extremism overseas, and an experiment that feeds ground-up insects to children. |

Intelligence, Subterfuge Aided Israeli Strike on Iran |
by Joshua Arnold |
The successful opening of Israel's "Operation Rising Lion" required much more than airstrikes launched from Israel. According to Israeli security officials, the successful operation also relied on drones and missiles planted inside Iran itself, as well as perfect intelligence on the locations of Iran's top military officials and nuclear scientists. The successful scheme continues Israel's track record of innovative and effective covert operations. |

Imitating My Father |
by Dan Hart |
My young sons are masters of imitation. Mowing the lawn is a can't-miss event for my two and four-year-old boys. After walking alongside me and my push mower every step of the way, they are soon pushing their play mowers back and forth, making "brooming" noises. Sometimes, when the volume level becomes unbearable in our house of four boys eight and under, I cover my ears with my hands. I now notice our two-year-old putting his hands on his cheeks when something is too loud for him. |

Refinding Fatherhood in America |
by Chuck Donovan |
The findings of a new study on the impact of family structure in Virginia aren't exactly new. For decades, scholars taking a close look at how the presence and active engagement of a mother and father affect outcomes for children have found remarkably consistent results. That is, children raised in these engaged, two-parent homes - which were dominant in U.S. society before anyone even thought to question whether they were a model - perform better on nearly every metric of social well-being and individual achievement. |

A Response to Michael Tait's Fall and Reminders Vital for All Believers |
by Sarah Holliday |
If you're anything like me, then the Newsboys were like a soundtrack for your growing faith. My first concert was a Newsboys show, their music a constant on family car rides. When Michael Tait took the lead, his modern pop flair dominated airwaves and even movies like "God's Not Dead." Their songs weren't just catchy - they carried a message that resonated deeply with our spiritual journeys. But our hearts now ache with the shattering truth: Tait, a man many admired, lived a double life. |

A Father's Day Call to Restore the Family: End Abortion on Demand |
by Catherine Davis |
Since Planned Parenthood opened its first abortion center in New York in 1970, a cultural shift has sidelined fathers, eroding the family unit. The mantra "my body, my choice" promised women autonomy but often left men stripped of responsibility or voice in the life-or-death decisions for their unborn children. This narrative, championed by groups like the National Organization for Women, has framed men as irrelevant, accelerating a societal drift toward fatherlessness. |
