Dear friends,
With Father’s Day today, I wanted to share a glimpse of Jeff, the father who is always “present,” who brings love and support to our family as he does to public service.
For over 30 years of marriage, Jeff and I have walked side by side through life’s joys and challenges. Together, we’ve built a loving family, blessed with our children who fill our lives with purpose and pride, and we've stood together as we faced cancer and major injuries.
As we raised our family, I’ve watched Jeff spend time with the girls after a hard day at work, whether it was helping with homework, sharing stories of growing up in Hays, or spending time exploring the many parts of Kansas that makes Kansas home.
Our home, was always filled with the laughter of our kids and the smile or words of encouragement from Jeff. As our children grew older, he shared countless conversations about faith, values, and dreams for their future.
What truly makes Jeff special is that he lives his values every day, and I see those same values in our girls. There can be no greater tribute to a father than to see his girls succeed and be happy.
You have seen Jeff’s values firsthand—as a doctor and a governor; he has lead with unwavering dedication and is always "present".
Kansas would be blessed to have Jeff as governor again, because I know Jeff will work as tirelessly for your families as he has for ours.
Our family is deeply grateful for your support, your encouragement, and your prayers as Jeff runs for governor.
Happy Father’s Day!
