Potatoes join this year’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ Dirty Dozen™ list of produce samples found to have the highest level of pesticide residues. The reason: a pesticide banned in Europe was found on 90% of potato samples, even after washing.

The average American eats about eight pounds of fresh strawberries a year – and with them, dozens of pesticides.
