Dear John,

I’ve been asked: Do I miss it?

The long nights on the floor. The tough, honest conversations. The responsibility of serving all the people of Nebraska.

The answer is yes! But what I’ve missed most is the opportunity to make a real difference—to do the kind of work that changes lives for the better.

I’ve missed using my voice to bring people together, not watching them be driven apart. I’ve missed standing up for kids, for families, for workers, and for our bright future.

So today, I’m proud to share that I’m running to return to the Nebraska Legislature. ([link removed])

After serving in the Unicameral and campaigning in 2022, I never stopped paying attention. I never stopped caring. And I never stopped believing that politics can be a force for good—if we lead with heart and stay grounded in what really matters.

Now more than ever, Nebraska needs steady hands and open hearts. We need leaders who still believe public service is about everyone, not just the powerful few. That’s who I’ve always been.
