Dear John,
I hope your loved ones in Iran are safe and okay. Like many of you, I’m devastated and angry seeing bodies of Iranian civilians killed and leveled apartment buildings in Tehran and cities across Iran. You can read our latest Iran Unfiltered tracking casualties and the Iranian people's reactions here. [[link removed]]
As a longtime organizer, I also have the fierce determination to channel pain and anger into direct action. Hours after Israel launched strikes on Iran, NIAC chapters — Iranian Americans and allies alike — took to the streets in major cities across the U.S. to deliver one united message: No War with Iran.
Here's what we accomplished together so far:
🏛 Washington, D.C. – Outside the White House, our D.C. rally made a direct call to U.S. President Trump and Congress that the people they represent are demanding restraint, diplomacy, and respect for human life. Activists shared personal stories in English and Persian about why they oppose war with Iran. Watch BBC Persian’s coverage of NIAC’s DC rally here [[link removed]] .
🗽 New York City – In the heart of Times Square, Iranian Americans, community leaders, and allies rallied around our shared call for no war with Iran and stopping the bombs. Watch a clip from our NYC rally here [[link removed]] .
🌉 Boston – Our NIAC Massachusetts Chapter turned out in force with coalition partners from across the state to rally in front of the JFK Federal Building in downtown Boston. Watch CBS Boston’s coverage of our protest here [[link removed]] , interviewing Iranian American organizers and allies.
🌆 Chicago – At Federal Plaza in downtown Chicago, Iranian Americans, peace advocates, and community leaders came together to denounce Israel's bombing of Iran. Our voices echoed through the city as we demanded that Congress choose dialogue over destruction. You can view photos and videos of the rally here [[link removed]] .
These rallies were a testament to the strength and resilience of our community. Iranian Americans refuse to be sidelined while policies that affect our families and futures are debated without us.
📣 Ready to take the next step? Other ways we need you to take action today: * Tell your Member of Congress to stand up for NO war with Iran: instantly email them here [[link removed]] or make a call with this script [[link removed]] .
* Share your personal story [[link removed]] about why you oppose war with Iran.

* Donate today [[link removed]] to help cover the costs of our rapid-response actions.
We’re not only organizing rallies, but also building a sustained campaign to stop war, promote diplomacy, and re-center our voices in U.S. foreign policy decisions. Join the movement - sign up to join a NIAC chapter today [[link removed]] .
With gratitude and resolve,
Myriam Sabbaghi
