Friend, this Father's Day is the second I'm spending without my dad. And today, I'm taking a moment to remember who he was and how he shaped where I am today.
Growing up in Colorado, my dad and I spent nearly every weekend skiing together, going to the Denver Zoo, cheering on the Rockies, Avalanche and Broncos. Those are some of my favorite memories — but it was the quiet, everyday lessons that stuck with me the most.
My dad was a civil servant. He went after fraudsters, protected working families, and did his job with dignity and integrity — because he believed in doing the right thing, even when no one was watching.
When my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer, union health benefits are what gave us more time together. Those extra years meant everything to me. And in his final days, he told me to run for office – which meant a lot coming from a guy who voted Republican his whole life.
That's why I'm in this race. Because families in Colorado – especially in rural communities that have been left behind by Washington – deserve access to the same lifesaving care my dad got.
But under the GOP's so-called "Big, Beautiful Bill," folks throughout CO-04 could lose access to critical benefits like Medicaid. Lauren Boebert voted for it anyway, because she cares more about the wealthy and well-connected than the people she was elected to serve.
I'm running to put the people of Colorado first again. And if you believe in building a future where every family has access to the care and dignity they deserve, I hope you'll consider chipping in to my campaign today.

Thanks for being a part of this team — and for standing with me to flip the House and make real change in CO-04.
