Delegate Reaser Endorses Jay Jones for Virginia Attorney General
With Primary Day two days away, I wanted to take a minute to speak about why I endorsed Jay Jones for Attorney General. Whether it's taking on slumlords, the big banks, or the gun lobby, Jay has successfully worked for the everyday people’s interests. He is the only candidate for AG to take on these issues and win!
During his time in the House of Delegates, Jay fought for working Virginians by expanding Medicaid, giving teachers annual pay raises, and protecting Virginia from politicians with extreme agendas attempting to take away reproductive rights. It is because of his strong record of service, compassion for underserved communities, and vision for the future that I endorsed Jay Jones for Attorney General.

In Due Course: Guide to Important Legislation
As the summer continues, we begin to approach the beginning of the new fiscal year, and with it, new laws from the 2025 legislative session going into effect. Many of them will have a direct impact on you, your family, and your industry. Most of the laws passed will go into effect on July 1, 2025.
A General Assembly department called the Division of Legislative Services (DLS) highlights the laws passed that are most likely to affect Virginians' daily lives in a selection called "In Due Course.” Topics covered include education, utilities, social services, public safety, employment, and more.

What Is A Caucus?
A particularly effective method for gaining insight and planning for legislative work is through involvement in caucuses. These groups provide a platform for members to collaborate on specific policy areas, like technology or aviation, or address issues relevant to particular demographics.
During the legislative off-season, members of the House of Delegates are actively engaging in specific issues within specialty caucuses, and deepening their understanding of critical policy issues impacting the Commonwealth. This crucial work is accomplished through various avenues, including constituent service events (such as mobile office hours), participation in state commissions, and direct engagement with citizens at community events.
This week, I participated in productive meetings with both the General Assembly Military and Veterans Caucus (GAMVC) and the Virginia Asian American and Pacific Islander Caucus (VAAPIC). During the GAMVC meeting, discussions focused on vital topics including collaboration with the Virginia National Guard, strategies to better support retiring veterans, and upcoming initiatives. In VAAPIC, we discussed the upcoming elections and ways to better advocate for the AAPI community.
NoVA Baháʼí Center Race Amity Celebration
It is always a pleasure to come together with our community and celebrate unity! Thanks to the Northern Virginia Baha'i Center for their inspiring Race Amity event. Multiculturalism and diversity truly enrich our region and make it one of the most dynamic places in the Commonwealth.

How My Office Can Help
Navigating state agencies can be confusing and difficult at times. As the delegate for House District 27, I can help you communicate with state agencies such as the Virginia Employment Commission, Departments of Taxation, Social Services, Transportation, and more! I can also submit inquiries with those agencies on your behalf. There are limits to what I can do, however. For example, I am unable to expedite cases or force state agencies to favor your inquiry, provide legal advice or recommend a specific attorney, intervene with judicial issues, overturn decisions, or be involved with matters between private businesses.
Whether you require my office’s assistance, want to bring an issue to my attention or invite me to a community event, please reach out! If there is any way I can assist you, please reach out here: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Alongside constituent services, I can submit drafts for commending and memorial resolutions. If you know of a person or organization in the district that deserves special recognition, please submit a request here: resolution request form. [[link removed]]
If you are happy with he work I am doing, please consider donating to my campaign for re-election using the button below.
