| Happy Father’s Day, Friend!
Whenever folks tell me I’m just like my dad, I always reply, “I hope you’re right!”
No matter the situation, my dad, James, always has something wise or witty to say. He's loving, kind, and a devoted father and grandfather. And as quick as he is with a word of advice, he’s just as eager to lend an ear or a helping hand.
He's the one who taught me that we get more out of listening than talking.
That it’s okay to not have all the answers, as long as we’re willing to learn.
That our actions, not our words, make us who we are.
My dad is my original supporter, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. So, here’s to celebrating all of the fantastic fathers and father figures in our lives today.
