This Father’s Day, you’re invited to stand with wish dads like Mia’s — dads who are there for their wish kids through every challenging moment and setback. Sign the card for wish dads to show that we’re behind them!
Diagnosed at age 4 with a degenerative neurological disorder, Mia has faced challenge after challenge, including losing mobility and her ability to speak.
It’s a rare occasion that Mia gets to play and be a kid. So for her wish, Mia wanted to be more than a kid — she wanted to feel like a princess. She chose a princess ball with a grand parade, a pink dress, a sparkling crown, and best of all, a ballroom dance lesson for Mia and her dad. |
On Mia’s wish day he proudly danced with his daughter in her wheelchair, showcasing her confidence, dance moves and remarkable superpower: her beautiful smile. Mia was all smiles on her wish day, and her joy was shared by all — especially her dad.
Make-A-Wish® helped Mia feel like a princess for one day, but her dad makes her feel like a princess every day. Sign the card for wish dads like Mia’s and you’ll receive a free download of wish kid art to use as a phone background.
Thank you for being a part of our community and showing wish dads your support!
Wishfully,
Make-A-Wish |
