REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NAVARRO COUNTY NEWSLETTER.
JUNE 2025

Thank you to our Republican Election Judges, Election Clerks, and Poll Watchers who have volunteered to ensure our election integrity. We hope you continue to serve. There are currently Election Judge vacancies at the Navarro County Annex, Martin Luther King Center, and Bears' Den Vote Centers. Other Vote Centers could use some back-up. Election workers are paid positions, where you will receive training on the Election laws, equipment, and documentation.

If interested, please contact County Chairman Steve Jessup before July 31, when Election Judge Lists are required to be submitted to the County Commissioners Court.

The Republican Party Of Navarro County will hold its regularly scheduled Executive Committee Meeting on Monday July 21, 2025 at 6:30 pm at the RPNC headquarters located at 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

Our speaker is Christine Welborn, President of Advancing Integrity, will discuss Election Integrity in Texas. She has been passionately involved since 2015, when she helped uncover what was the largest ballot harvesting scheme ever reported in Texas. Her work has exposed fraud, corruption, and mismanagement in 9 counties across Texas.

While she remains a leading subject matter expert in exposing mail-in ballot harvesting, Christine Welborn is also equipped to advocate for accuracy, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our elections. She will share solutions that can be enacted into law.

Working together, we can ensure safe, secure, and accurate elections in Texas.

Please join us for a social from 6:00pm to 6:30pm, saluting our elected officials.

A BIG CHANGE-UP IN THE ELECTION PROCESS:

SB 2753

SB 2753 by Hall/Isaac. Early voting will be required to begin the 12^th day before election day and continue through the day before election day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Each polling place that was an early voting polling place must also be an election day polling place. (More polling places may be added for election day.) All reporting will be in two categories: Early Voting by mail and voting in person (combining early voting in person and election day results.)

This is a big change with a lot of logistics to be worked out, so Section 32 of the bill says: “As soon as practicable after the effective date* of this Act, but not later than August 1, 2027, the SOS shall:

1. Adopt rules and prescribe procedures required for the implementation of this Act; and

2. Publish a report in the Texas register station that the secretary:

(A) has consulted with county election officials in this state; and

(B) is confident that the counties in this state are prepared to implement the provisions of this Act.

*The Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
Republican Party of Navarro County operations account pays for our Republican Headquarters in West Third Avenue. As Republicans, we must pay our own way. It is the other party that has free stuff. We have several contributor levels:
* Roosevelt = $ 100
* Coolidge = $ 250
* Eisenhower = $ 500
* Lincoln = $ 1000
* Reagan = $ 5000

You would receive a lapel pin, recognizing your contribution.

The Republican Headquarters is a valuable resource to the local party, as well as the Navarro County Republican Women’s club. Volunteers have been recruited, because they either called the Headquarters or came in person. Our candidates had a visible and accessible place to file for office.

Donations can be received on the www.navgop.org website.

Please keep the RPNC strong in 2025.
