Trump certainly isn’t slowing down.

He praises foreign dictators—and tries to emulate them here at home.
He calls dissenters “scum.” Threatens peaceful protest with arrest.
He deployed troops into Los Angeles to crush protests.
His DHS thugs shoved U.S. Senator Alex Padilla to the ground yesterday—for daring to ask why detained migrants were denied lawyers.

And now he’s throwing himself a creepy military parade in D.C., like some tinpot strongman.
This is authoritarianism in real time.

But today, the country is rising up. Protests are sweeping the nation. And Daily Kos is doing what we’ve done for 23 years: naming the threat, spreading the truth, and staying loud.
