What’s really happening in LA?
The Trump administration has launched an unprecedented and unlawful invasion of our city. Armed militarized federal agents are disappearing our neighbors from job sites, schools, and neighborhoods. Families are terrified.
But through the fear, something powerful is happening: Angelenos are rising. Together. We’ve seen faith leaders kneeling in prayer in front of federal troops. Teachers, small business owners, and neighbors taking to the streets in peaceful resistance. From South LA to the San Fernando Valley, from Boyle Heights to Pasadena, we showed up for each other.
Because that’s who we are. We Are CA and we know working families, youth and elders are all part of what makes our community beautiful – and no matter where you come from or what’s in your wallet, you belong here.
Our communities may be hurting but we are fighting back. Trump’s crew of bullies, bigots, and billionaires are attacking our communities: using federal agents for targeted kidnappings of immigrants and cutting funding to life-saving programs that ensure everyone can make a good living and keep food on the table.
They’ve schemed up these poisonous policies with one goal: profit off our pain while handing out tax breaks to fuel their private jets and corruption.
But we’re not letting them get away with this. The Trump administration's extremist policies are attempting to divide, intimidate, and isolate us from one another– and in these moments our unity becomes our strength. Knowledge becomes power. We’re coming together to get organized, to get disciplined, and to strategize with Californians to stand up and fight back.

Expose the real villains – the billionaires and bullies profiting off our people and future
A plan for nonviolent resistance to keep ICE out of our communities and to push back on the MAGA murder budget
We will not accept billionaires using their money to undermine our democracy, strip our communities of our rights and have us blame each other for the problems they cause. We Are California and when you come for one of us, you come for all of us.
