In the Army, we were taught the acronym LDRSHIP which represented seven core values: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These values guided me through 21 years of military service and they guide me still today. 

Sadly, those values are now missing in Washington.

Let’s be clear: my opponent, Cindy Hyde-Smith, has failed this test of leadership. She’s fully endorsed by authoritarian Donald Trump and repeatedly capitulates to his extreme, divisive agenda. When Trump demanded a taxpayer-funded military “birthday” parade to stroke his own ego, Hyde-Smith zipped her lips. When Mississippi needs a fighter, she chooses silence. 

I took an oath to serve this country—I’ve never stopped living by it. 

Now I’m stepping up again. Not to serve a party or a politician, but to serve the people of Mississippi with honor, courage, and integrity. That’s the leadership we deserve. That’s what I’ll deliver.
