![]() Flag Day: A Symbol of Service, Sacrifice, and SupportToday, June 14th, we celebrate Flag Day, a holiday that commemorates the adoption of the American flag on this day in 1777 by the Second Continental Congress. With 13 stars and stripes to represent the original colonies, the flag has grown alongside our nation—evolving into a powerful symbol of freedom, resilience, and unity. Did You Know?
But Flag Day is about more than history—it's about the people who serve under that flag today. At Soldiers’ Angels, we are proud to support Service Members, Veterans, and their families who carry the values the flag represents: duty, honor, sacrifice. Whether it’s sending care packages to deployed troops, distributing food to Veterans in need, or sending handmade items to VA hospitals, our work is fueled by the very ideals the flag embodies. Every gesture of support from our volunteers and donors is a living tribute to what that flag stands for. This Flag Day, take a moment to reflect—not just on the stars and stripes, but on the men and women behind them. Because when we support them, we’re not just waving the flag—we’re living its promise. P.S. Right now, 574 deployed Service Members are still waiting to feel the support of home. If you believe in the values our flag represents—service, unity, and sacrifice—be the reason one of those heroes knows they’re not forgotten and click the above button now. 🧡 Honoring the Fathers Who Serve—This Father’s Day![]()
