I’m running for governor of Georgia.
As at least a fifth generation Georgian, I have dedicated over twenty years of my career to public service — and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work to deliver for our state.

John, as mayor of Atlanta, I steered the city through some very difficult times, including the pandemic.
Under my leadership, we increased access to affordable housing, gave our first responders a historic pay increase, took steps to put more money back into the hands of the hardworking people of Atlanta, and more.
But our fight is far from over. And these days, most Georgians are right to wonder: Who is looking out for us?
Donald Trump is a disaster for our economy and our country. From his failure to address rising prices to his giving an unelected billionaire the power to cut Medicare and Social Security, it’s one terrible thing after another.

As governor, I will make expanding Medicaid my top priority.
I’ll do more to protect those who protect us, just like I did as mayor when I gave first responders a historic raise.
I’ll work to eliminate state income taxes for teachers, focus on supporting small businesses, crack down on corporate landlords who are raising rent and housing costs, and invest in our children’s future.
