NYYRC Proclaims Victory in Washington D.C. Day
Today, Americans celebrate Flag Day and the shared birthdays of our beloved President Donald J. Trump and the United States Army. A better name for this holiday, however, is Victory in Washington D.C. Day (V-W Day). In the coming hours, a military parade will march through the streets of Washington as President Trump celebrates his 79th birthday and the U.S. Army its 250th. President Trump’s road back to the White House was long and arduous, but, today, we celebrate both the victory of President Trump and the glory of the Stars and Stripes.
When he was first elected on a majestic November Tuesday, President Trump was surprised by the vindictiveness that Democrats and their establishment allies displayed. When he became president, Democrats launched investigation after investigation, accusing him, inter alia absurda, of working for the Russian government. He was impeached twice on false charges. And yet, no president has done more for the American People in the modern era. In his first term, President Trump closed the borders, kept America from foreign wars, and revived the economy. Infuriated, the left swore vengeance.
When the Biden Regime occupied Washington D.C. in 2021, they initiated a coordinated campaign of persecution against President Trump like no president before him. He was indicted on 88 felony charges in four different courts. Great American Patriots like Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman were arraigned as well. President Trump was dragged into a Manhattan courtroom and convicted in the very city he helped rebuild after the 9/11 attacks. Colorado, Maine, and Illinois removed him from the ballot. Thirty-two more states tried and failed. Aware of the power of MAGA, the Radical Left tried every trick in the book to thwart President Trump’s return to office. All of them failed.
At a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, President Trump came within an inch of his life. With blood running down his cheek, he raised his fist in the air and shouted, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” to the crowd. Corey Comperatore, a volunteer firefighter attending the rally, was killed. Two months later, a deranged leftist was caught aiming a rifle at the President. Nevertheless, President Trump persevered. He defeated not one, but two different Democratic candidates for president, handily collecting 312 electoral votes in the general election. Now, President Trump is once again in a newly gilded Oval Office, at home behind the Resolute Desk.
As the parade marches down Constitution Avenue, patriotic Americans will reflect on how far America has come. At this time last year, President Trump was in court. Today, he is in the Oval Office. The Democrats are politically and morally bankrupt. Mass deportations are gathering steam. Our military is ascendant, resplendent in their uniforms on this momentous day. The State Department is opening an Office of Remigration. Most importantly, the American Right is now ascendant. John Adams, a Founding Father and early U.S. President, said that the true revolution “was in the minds and hearts of the people.” Today, 250 years since Lexington and Concord, President Trump is reinspiring the minds of Americans from sea to shining sea.
On this June 14, 2025, the New York Young Republican Club proclaims the first annual Victory in Washington D.C. Day (V-W Day). It is fitting that June 14 is both Flag Day and the President and U.S. Army’s birthdays. The return of President Donald J. Trump to Washington coincides with the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. As we reforge America for future generations, we celebrate the victories of Patriotism over Leftism, of Order over Anarchy, and of American Heritage over the New World Order. The ascendancy of the Republican Party is proclaimed, and the golden age of American excellence dawns.
God bless President Donald J. Trump and the United States of America.
