** We reached and surpassed our Annual Giving Day goal—twice!
------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to your incredible support, we not only reached but exceeded our Annual Giving Day goal—raising $38,083, surpassing our $30,000 target by over $8,000!
We’re deeply grateful to have you by our side as we continue the fight for Indigenous rights. This year, as we celebrate 53 years of Cultural Survival, your generosity reminds us just how powerful community can be.
Because of supporters like you, we are ready to continue to build a future that respects and honors the values, voices, and visions of Indigenous Peoples. Your support helps us provide gatherings like our "Listening and Exchange Session: ([link removed]) Mama Qota is at Risk ([link removed]) " that took place on March 28 - 29, 2025. This gathering brought together community communicators, environmental activists, Indigenous leaders, and researchers from Bolivia and Peru—countries that share the basin of the world's highest navigable lake, which is currently threatened by pollution, extractivism, and climate change.

The event combined dialogues, workshops, and a presentation of the radio documentary "Mama Qota is at Risk ([link removed]) ," ([link removed]) produced by Cultural Survival's Indigenous Rights Radio in early 2024. The documentary elevates the voices of Indigenous communities affected by the pollution of Lake Titicaca, documents clean-up initiatives by civil society organizations in conjunction with riverside communities, highlights the role of scientists and researchers committed to Lake Titicaca, and offers a sound tour of this large body of water. Thanks to your support, we’re able to keep creating powerful spaces for dialogue and community connection like this one
From all of us at Cultural Survival and our grassroots partners around the world: thank you. Your commitment is helping to advance Indigenous rights, amplify Indigenous voices, and create lasting change.
If you didn’t get a chance to donate, join the movement!

Cultural Survival advocates for Indigenous Peoples' rights and supports Indigenous communities’ self-determination, cultures and political resilience since 1972. We envision a future that respects and honors Indigenous Peoples' inherent rights and dynamic cultures, deeply and richly interwoven in lands, languages, spiritual traditions, and artistic expression, rooted in self-determination and self-governance.
