Chairman's Corner: A Note from Chairman Wood

This weekend, we recognize two important American traditions: Flag Day and Father’s Day. It’s a fitting moment to reflect on both our national values and the foundational role of family in American culture.

Years ago, in 2009, I wrote about how Democrats often acknowledge Father’s Day with pleasant words, but rarely support policies that strengthen the role of fathers in the home. Instead, their approach tends to expand government in ways that replace, rather than reinforce, the traditional family structure. When the government becomes the “father,” it not only undermines the independence and self-accountability of individual citizens but also the very institutions that hold our communities together.

Republicans believe in real fatherhood: responsibility, protection, provision, and mentorship. We don’t just talk about family values - we legislate and lead with them.

This belief in personal responsibility and teamwork is also what fuels our wins, not just at the ballot box, but even on the ball field.

Congratulations to our Republican team for dominating the 2025 Congressional Baseball Game for the fifth straight year! Once again, our side showed what discipline, grit, and unity can accomplish. It was a moment of great pride for our party and a light-hearted yet meaningful reminder that we’re here to win in every arena.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin joins group asking to protect Facebook users

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin, alongside 41 other state attorneys general, has urged Meta to step up and protect Facebook users from deceptive investment advertisements, particularly “pump-and-dump” schemes that exploit trust in figures like Warren Buffett and Elon Musk

Let’s recap all the Hogg Rebellion has conquered, and its everlasting effects on House Democrats’ chances of flipping the House:

  • Hogg's group announced they're spending $20 million to torch their own members and replace them with far-left crazies.
  • The DCCC accepted $100,000 from the group actively plotting to primary their incumbents.
  • House Democrats are facing primary challengers from Hogg’s radical minions, forcing some to call it quits and others to show their true, extreme colors.
  • Hogg's movement has even sparked primary challenges to vulnerable House Democrats.

It’s clear Democrat leaders have surrendered to the far-left fringe, putting their chances of reclaiming the House on thin ice.
