Israel has dealt a Major Blow to the World’s Largest Terrorist State - IRAN and its Nuclear and Missile Facilities.
This was the 2nd time that Israel has waged such a pre-emptive strike. The last was the 1967 war - A good military op-ed is here [ [link removed] ]on Operation Moked (“Focus”). That was the Israeli name for the 1967 preemptive strike (during the Six-Day War) aimed at destroying the Arab air forces on the ground— it was practiced for many years, much like Operation Rising Lion, that was launched yesterday and is another brilliant aerial assault.
Israel has done what no other nation is willing to do - It Protected the World from Nuclear Attacks by a Radical Jihadist Terrorist Regime that has been cowardly waging proxy wars until it could develop the nuclear weapons for its final solution on Israel and the US.
The Wall Street Journal issued an editorial entitled “ [ [link removed] ]Israel’s Nuclear Good Deed Against Iran” [ [link removed] ] - A fitting title for a fitting mission.
Israel, is that little engine that could; it is a tiny state, the size of New Jersey with a population about that of New York City. With less than 10% of the population of Iran, Israel just attacked the greatest terrorist and nuclear threat to the world.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu characterized this pre-emptive strike as an act of survival against the “clear and present danger” of an imminent threat of nuclear weaponization by Iran with its sole intention of using these nuclear weapons against Israel, U.S., Europe and the Gulf States.
Israel’s well planned and well executed plan destroyed major components of Iran’s nuclear program, destroyed missile launching sites, killed key scientists and military leaders.
This was executed as Iran was about to hit that point of no return with weapons grade enriched uranium after more than a decade of strong verbal warnings that went unheeded.
We owe them a great debt of gratitude for their actions.
The world is a much safer place. The modern axis of evil against the U.S. and Western Civilization are China, Russia and Iran. One of the three has now been neutralized.
China and Russia have lost one of their partners in the three legged stool that their alliance is based on. The markets are concerned about oil prices as well.
The U.S. now needs to strengthen our allies in Asia to contain Chinese aggression.
While it has not formally happened, the Jewish state deserves U.S. support as it continues its campaign against the Iranian nuclear weapons program and other strategic sites and military leaders.
This Israeli attack is the beginning of a new world where totalitarian dictatorships bent on world domination will be met with the force necessary to stop them. Netanyahu even included a message to the Iranians that this ancient relationship between Israel and Iran will be established once again once after Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei is removed from power.
Israel is the ONLY Democracy in the Middle East; it has been the home to Jewish refugees of oppression and dedicated to the principal of creating a militarily strong deterrence against the Neo-Fascist antisemites that wish to destroy them.
The US Political Opinion is Awful
Sadly many of our progress left politicians including our Senator Murphy have condemned Israel for their self defensive pre-emptive attack against Iran.
Congressman Himes on TV this morning warned that Israel’s attack on Iran could lead to repercussions in U.S.” This is the ranking member of Intelligence.
What Jim Himes should have been saying is that the risk to the U.S. of a nuclear attack by Iranian missiles has been eliminated by the Israelis.
We in Connecticut have the misfortune of electing legislators who are so dedicated to the progressive left agenda that they fail to understand the importance of nipping potentially dangerous situations in the bud.
It is time to learn that bad legislators pass bad laws, and support bad policies that weaken our state and our country.
This must change in the 2026 election and in the 2025 local elections.
Every voter needs to become educated voters, who are not tied to one party and who vote for candidates that share their views regardless of their political party affiliation.
Tiny Israel should inspire us to fight harder for our democracy, which is out protection against tyranny, and this tyranny is happening in this country with these “peaceful protests.” Let the Attack in Boulder and the death of two Israeli embassy aides in this country over the past few weeks remind us that this radical antisemitism is here on our soil.
Let’s pray that history repeats itself and Israel prevails like it did in 1967 plan.
