With reports that ICE is planning to send out more tactical units into cities beyond LA, there are resources available to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe as we exercise our U.S. constitutional right to protest.

It’s no coincidence that as the power of the people grows stronger, millions of our taxpayer dollars are being spent trying to attack our freedoms and silence our voices. As you prepare to take part in community actions near you, remember the role you play in strengthening our collective call for justice and systemic change.

If you do decide to show up in person, remember that ANY interaction with law enforcement—even at peaceful demonstrations—carries potential risks. To protect yourself and others, arrive grounded, peaceful, informed, and equipped with a plan that prioritizes safety and unity:
