Earlier this year, a violent mob of rioters stormed Barnard College.  One university employee had to be hospitalized after being physically assaulted during the chaos.

As a result, nine rioters were arrested.  Among those arrested?  Gabrielle Wimer -- a Columbia University medical student.

Accuracy in Media has confirmed that Wimer will soon begin her residency in the Highland Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Oakland, California, a program through Alameda Health.

There’s no issue with holding personal political beliefs.  But what happened at Barnard wasn’t a peaceful protest -- it was dangerous, aggressive, and pro-Hamas.

Should someone arrested during a violent riot be trusted to make life-and-death decisions in an emergency room?

The public has a right to question whether Gabrielle Wimer can truly uphold the promise to do no harm.

If Alameda Health won’t act, then it’s up to us to raise the alarm.

Click here to send a message directly to Alameda Health executives.  Tell them to reconsider whether someone arrested for violence at a Hamas-sympathizing riot belongs in a medical residency program.
