John — I’m calling on Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, to testify IMMEDIATELY. 

Here’s why:

Yesterday, Secretary Noem had U.S. Senator Alex Padilla forcibly removed and handcuffed from a DHS press event just for trying to ask questions.

Let me be clear:

Sen. Padilla is an elected representative of 40 million Americans. This wasn’t just a political stunt, it was an authoritarian power grab straight out of a dictator’s playbook.

This is what Trump’s MAGA America has become. A lawless, dangerous movement that threatens our democracy, attacks its political opponents, and silences dissent.

I will not let this stand.

As a member of the House Oversight Committee, I’m calling on Secretary Noem to testify IMMEDIATELY on the manhandling of a sitting U.S. Senator. If they’re willing to come for a sitting U.S. Senator, they’ll come for ALL of us next.
