John,
Yesterday, City Council voted to pass the Philly 2.0 budget and my H.O.M.E. initiative!
At a time of real uncertainty in our country, this budget makes substantial, bold investments in the programs we need most to make Philadelphia the safest, cleanest and greenest big city in America.
Here’s just some of what’s in the 2026 Budget:
➡️ Serious investments in public safety
➡️ $2 billion housing initiative for 30,000 units of housing
➡️ New investments in education
➡️ Expanded Clean & Green initiatives
➡️ Lowering Taxes
Philadelphians deserve more than just promises, they deserve results. This budget is all about delivering for our city and moving Philadelphia forward, and I’m proud of my work with City Council to make it a reality.
One Philly, A United City!
Mayor Parker
