Senator Padilla was arrested – for asking a question at a press conference.

A U.S. Senator, detained for doing his job – raising concerns about cruel immigration policies and demanding answers in front of the press. Just a question. And for that, he was silenced.

At the very same time, the administration is sending Marines into Los Angeles.

It’s part of a chilling pattern of power being used not to protect people, but to suppress them – and to scare them.

What does it say about our country when asking about children in detention and about families being torn apart – gets you arrested?

We need accountability – and that’s why I’m asking:
