John, “Care should not be the first thing that’s cut, it should be the first thing that’s protected.”
These are the words of our dear friends, care advocates, and founding Creative Care Council members Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, who partnered with us to tell Rolling Stone exactly why Medicaid is so important.
The Rolling Stone article features a video in which the Rogens share their care story and tell the world exactly why they’re fighting to protect Medicaid.
Watch the video and then share it [[link removed]] so everyone hears their words and sees the importance and power of speaking up for care.

In the video, Seth says, “It’s so unfathomable that federal and state legislatures are making massive cuts to Medicaid as we speak.”
Seth is right – despite 80 million aging and disabled people, children, and families in the country depending on Medicaid for essential care, the Senate is now considering a budget that would cut almost a trillion dollars from the program.
But, like Lauren says, the fight isn’t over, and we have power together .
We hope you will watch and share the video [[link removed]] , [[link removed]] and continue speaking out and taking action for care.
We will protect and defend Medicaid together!
In solidarity,
Nicole Jorwic, Chief Program Officer
