If there’s ever been a time to stand up to the president, it’s right now.

Donald Trump and his Republican enablers are taking a sledgehammer to the First Amendment and wreaking havoc across the country just to score political points.

After illegally seizing control of California’s National Guard and deploying U.S. Marines in residential neighborhoods in Los Angeles, Trump’s goons just assaulted and arrested a sitting United States Senator for daring to ask questions at a press conference.

And this weekend, Trump is holding a so-called military “parade," and threatening anyone who dares to peacefully protest with “very heavy force.”

This is straight out of the authoritarian playbook, and they must be stopped. That’s why I REFUSE to stay quiet, no matter how big of a target it puts on my back.

Take it from a guy who won a toss-up race on a night that was difficult for so many Democrats across the country: We have nothing to gain by cowering in fear. Democrats must be bold and decisive in EVERYTHING we do. If you agree, will you rush a donation to help me continue to stand up to Trump?
