We’re in a time of great uncertainty. But it’s been proven time and time again that when the people exercise our power, things can change for the better.
Democratic governors like Wes Moore are on the frontlines of our democracy, holding down the fort to defend our constitutional rights and protect our hard-won progress. His mission is the same as mine in the Senate: to stand up for the people no matter what the new administration may throw our way.
It’s never been more important to keep fighting for the better world we know is possible.
That better world can seem far right now. Tariffs are making prices skyrocket, bedrock government services like Social Security are under threat, and new policies are hurting the quality of our children’s education.
Due process, freedom of speech, and the rights that form the heart of our nation are being ignored and undermined by the Trump administration.
So now is the time that we stand up. Stand up for ourselves, our neighbors, our children, and everyone who is in need.
