CO GOP CHAIR HORN’S “UNITY” ADMINISTRATION CRASHES AND BURNS. HORN LOSES CONTROL IN WILD BUDGET MEETING CHAOS. The train wreck of Horn’s budget meeting this week got off to a bad start when several SEC members pointed out she failed to give proper notice. It went downhill as Horn presented her $2-million plus budget “vision” which mostly includes paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to herself and her friends and allies. Outrageously including health insurance and IRA contributions. The budget did not include funds for candidates and there was no real plan for raising money short of Horn dialing for donor dollars. Then it got worse. For there first time in living memory, the SEC rejected Horn’s budget 11-10. Shockingly, Horn refused to accept the vote and kept calling for new votes until behind the scenes arm twisting coerced a one vote switch so the budget finally passed. BUT WAIT - IT GETS WORSE. BOMBSHELL REVELATIONS AS HORN’S VICE CHAIR RESIGNS IN DISGUST OVER HER LEADERSHIP. Vice Chair Darrel Phelan resigned with a scathing letter condemning Horn’s leadership. He writes he was intentionally sidelined, ignored and silenced. This comes just a few weeks after Horn’s hand-picked Treasurer also abruptly resigned. Hurd has been in office just a few months and is already dancing to the tune of his Americans for (Koch) Prosperity puppet masters. He’s opposed Trump on several crucial issues and Scheppelman says the people of CD3 deserve a real conservative who will fight for them and our real-world local interests, not the sold-out elitists like Hurd.
