John, it's Andy, the Executive Director of the Kansas Democrats.

As the ED, I'm responsible for overseeing and managing the party's day-to-day operations and our efforts to elect Democrats around the state. That's why this Cook Political Report 🗞️ rating caught my eye: ⤵️

This cycle, Kansas is the ONLY state with a Democratic Governor where the incumbent is term-limited AND the state "leans Republican."

But now's not the time to get discouraged. It's time to take action.

Our on the ground efforts to build an operation and persuade and turnout voters, even before we have candidates and nominees, is crucial to helping those eventual candidates win.

We're on a mission to continue sharing our common-sense solutions to the issues Kansans are facing through Town Halls, local organizing events, and grassroots coalition building, as well as recruiting, supporting, and training candidates for office who will fight for our values.

But Kansas is a big state, and we've got to have the funds to cover it all—which is why we're reaching out to our biggest supporters for help.
