Dismantling the NFA
Dear Fellow Freedom Fighters,
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert here, your unapologetic Second Amendment warrior
from Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District. I’m pumped to share a huge win:
the Hearing Protection Act (HPA)—a measure to remove suppressors from the
National Firearms Act (NFA)—passed the House as part of the Big Beautiful Bill!
This is a major strike against federal overreach, and it’s because of patriots
like you that we’re closer to securing our God-given rights.
The HPA is a no-brainer for shooters, hunters, and anyone who cares about
their hearing. It yanks suppressors out of the NFA, ditching the outrageous
$200 tax stamp, ATF paperwork, unbelievably long wait times, and bureaucratic
garbage that treats law-abiding Americans like criminals for wanting to protect
their ears. Suppressors aren’t Hollywood “silencers”—they’re safety tools, and
the HPA ensures you can use them without the feds’ permission slip. I fought
like hell for this bill, taking on the anti-gun crowd in Washington, but this
victory is yours. The Colorado State Shooting Association, alongside other
national and statewide pro-2A groups across the country, turned up the heat on
key House members. <[link removed]> Your calls, emails, and
relentless pressure sealed the deal. Colorado’s gun owners showed up, and I’m
damn proud.
If the HPA clears the Senate and gets the President’s signature, it’ll spark a
critical legal fight right here in Colorado. Anti-gun radicals, backed by
Michael Bloomberg and his shills’ anti-2A agenda, will likely drag this law
into court, and our state could be the battleground. The CSSA is ready to lead
the charge, just like they are in theLangston v. Humphreys
<[link removed]> case against Prop. KK’s 6.5% guns & ammo excise tax.
With the proven grit of CSSA and their membership, they can rally national and
local partners to form an unbreakable united front, ensuring our Second
Amendment rights stand tall against any assault. Your leadership, support, and
dedication will be the backbone of this fight.
To keep this momentum blazing and prepare for the next fight, CSSA needs your
support now more than ever. I’m asking you to dig deep anddonate to the CSSA
<[link removed]>. Every dollar fuels the fight—legal battles, advocacy,
and grassroots firepower to protect our rights. If you’re not already a member,
join the CSSA today <[link removed]>. Becoming a member strengthens our
numbers and sends a loud message to the gun-grabbers: Colorado stands united
for the Second Amendment.
The HPA still needs to conquer the Senate and land on the President’s desk.
I’m counting on the CSSA to keep the pressure on. Call the Senators and make it
crystal clear: Coloradans won’t bow to the ATF or their anti-gun allies.
Washington’s anti-gun forces want to disarm us, but we’ve shown them what
happens when patriots lock and load together.
Thank you for standing with me. Let’s keep fighting—our Second Amendment
rights shall not be infringed!
For Freedom and the Second Amendment,
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert
