I am writing to update you on ADL&rsquo;s comprehensive and ongoing response following Israel&rsquo;s preemptive military actions against the Islamic Republic of Iran&rsquo;s military assets, including its nuclear facilities.

Our Organizational Response

ADL is taking action to support the people of Israel and help protect Jewish communities worldwide.

Statement of Support: We have issued a clear statement articulating our support for Israel&rsquo;s strike on the Islamic Republic of Iran&rsquo;s nuclear facilities and capabilities as an act of self-defense. A nuclear-armed Iran would pose an existential and grave threat to Israel, the region, the global community and, as demonstrated on many occasions, a lethal threat to Diaspora Jewry. You can

Threat Monitoring and Assessment: Our Center on Extremism is actively monitoring emerging threats, tracking harmful rhetoric and assessing trends that could impact Jewish community safety. We are working around the clock to identify potential security concerns and provide information to law enforcement and community partners. Our experts have released insights about how antisemitic and anti-Israel voices are already spreading hate and misinformation about the situation.

Local Outreach: Our regional teams are conducting extensive outreach in communities across the United States, reaching out to Jewish and non-Jewish partners, securing statements of support from local leaders and government officials, connecting with law enforcement and providing support to community members during this difficult time.

Outreach to National Leaders: Our teams are working with a bipartisan array of elected leaders in Washington and across the country; we are providing these decision-makers and policy influencers with the most current updates and analysis. We will continue to demand that our leaders call out antisemitism and extremism and take action.

Global Mobilization: Our International Affairs team is actively coordinating with the J7 Task Force on Antisemitism &mdash; comprised of the seven largest diaspora communities &mdash; and other Jewish communities around the globe, monitoring the global impact including diplomatic reactions by governments and international organizations so we can engage where necessary and assess trends that could impact Jewish community safety.

During these scary and unpredictable times, especially for those with friends and family in Israel, ADL remains committed to leveraging all our resources to help ensure the safety of Jewish communities everywhere.
