I also want to share a little about what makes Phil so special to our family. Phil is an incredible father — he made our kids’ lunches throughout elementary and middle school, and read to them every single night before bed. And to this day, Phil still does the majority of the grocery shopping for our household, where he particularly loves to hunt for deals in bulk at Costco.

Watching Phil juggle being a hands on dad, running for office, and standing up for our rights as the People’s Lawyer is so inspiring — because Phil extends the same deep care and love he holds for our family to all Coloradans.

When we first met, Phil told me public service was his lifelong mission, and every day on the campaign trail, I see just how true that is. I have seen how hard he works, how he listens, and how much he cares for the wellbeing of Coloradans.

Our family is so proud of Phil and over the past few years it has been a pleasure to see so many of you get to know Phil too and what makes him special.
