I am so honored to be the official Democratic nominee for governor here in New Jersey. Thank you to everyone who played a part in this victory. I wouldn’t be here without this incredible grassroots team who chipped in, volunteered, and voted.
And we can’t stop now.
We know what we are up against. The general election has begun — and if recent history is any indication, it’s going to be an expensive, hard-fought race decided by a razor-thin margin. Will you help us get off to a strong start against Trump’s handpicked Republican nominee by splitting $5 between my campaign and Chris Pappas today?
I was raised to believe that we have an obligation to our community and our country.
It’s why I took my first oath to the Constitution as a teenager when I entered the Naval Academy.
It’s why I spent nearly a decade in the Navy as a helicopter pilot and Russian policy officer.
It’s why I went to law school, and became an outreach and reentry coordinator and a federal prosecutor.
It’s why I first ran for office — flipping a Republican-held congressional seat here in New Jersey that no one thought we could win at the time.
And it’s why I’m running to serve as our next governor. It’s too hard to get ahead in New Jersey, and too often, our kids have fewer opportunities than we did. The system feels broken, and Donald Trump’s agenda is only making it worse. I can’t accept that — and as governor, I won’t.
But the fact is, New Jersey is now a battleground state, and Trump is already campaigning for my opponent, Jack Ciattarelli, a career politician who has promised to pass an abortion ban, defund public schools, and bring DOGE to New Jersey. So, truthfully, we won’t win this race unless we have a strong grassroots team behind us right from the start.
Thank you so much for your support,
Mikie Sherrill

New Hampshire is poised to be one of the closest Senate races in the country in 2026. Will you chip in today to help Chris stop the Republicans from flipping the Granite State red and expanding their Senate majority?
