The freedom to rise, the freedom to learn, the freedom from violence, and the freedom to govern ourselves.
Friends, I believe that every American is entitled to those four fundamental freedoms. Those values are what have guided my work in public service.
Here’s how we can achieve these freedoms right here in Colorado:
By ensuring Colorado families can afford healthcare, childcare, and housing; by fighting childhood poverty; and by building an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, we can achieve the freedom to rise.
By modernizing our education system to set our kids up for success, no matter what zip code they are born into, and paying our educators what they deserve, we can achieve the freedom to learn.
By partnering with local law enforcement and communities to keep Coloradans safe, fighting the opioid epidemic, and combating the extremism that flourishes on social media, we can achieve freedom from violence.
By protecting Coloradans' voting rights, keeping the government out of our bedrooms and doctors' offices, and reforming our electoral system so the people, not dark money, have the most power, we can achieve the freedom to govern ourselves.
Achieving these goals in the political climate we are living through right now may feel impossible, but I know fighting for what is fundamental will always be worth it.
That’s why I’m running for Governor. Working together, right here at home, we can truly achieve these fundamental freedoms and provide the rest of the country with the hopeful and optimistic vision we desperately need.
Friend, I can’t and wouldn’t want to do without you by our side. If you want to join me in this campaign, consider chipping in what you can today. >>
