Good afternoon friend,
Today, MPs voted on key amendments to make the Bill even more robust and
workable. To anchor the legislation deeply to the principles that MPs supported
so decisively back in November, and to give them the confidence to support it
again at what we are expecting to be the Bill’s Third Reading vote this time
next week.
Our success today is a little less grand but no less important than the outcome
we’re hoping for next week - and it was deeply heartening to see MPs standing by
their previous votes to support key amendments and to reject those that would
undermine the purpose of the Bill.
Today, this campaign, this movement, passed another vital milestone and we are
ready to face next week’s vote head-on. Will you join us at the demonstration
outside Parliament for the vote on 20th June?
Yes, I'll join you →
