Pontiac, Mich.– Oakland County’s Department of Economic Development is inviting residents, business owners, nonprofits and community partners to take part in two in-person workshops that will help shape the future of the county’s tourism economy and destination brand.
These workshops are the next step in the county’s effort to develop a comprehensive Tourism & Attraction Strategic Plan, building on extensive public engagement, including a countywide visitor survey launched in March, and focus groups. Participants will be asked to contribute ideas and feedback on how to build a more inclusive, vibrant and sustainable visitor economy that benefits all communities in Oakland County.
