Trump’s newly proposed budget bill, which he calls “One Big Beautiful Bill”, is nothing short of a disaster for moms, families, and everyone… except billionaires.
Here are just a few harmful things Trump’s bill would do:
- Cut $800 billion from Medicaid — which covers 41% of all births as well as critical postpartum care services
- Slash $300 billion from SNAP — reducing coverage for those who need it most, targeting: low-income families, people with disabilities, immigrants, and the elderly
- Restrict federal court authority — limiting the power to hold government officials accountable and dismissing civil rights cases
- Blocks states from regulating AI — increasing the spread of disinformation and putting kids’ online privacy at risk
